How to Replace the Battery in a 2017 Lexus RC F Key Fob

If your Lexus keyless entry remote is no longer working correct, the cell battery probably needs to be changed. Below, we explained how to disassembly Lexus remote key fob and replace a discharged battery yourself. Before beginning disassembly key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
