How to Open Your 2017 Volvo S60 Key Fob & Change Battery

Before going to open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2430 batteries.- 2xCR2430 batteries

Step by step instruction
A small button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Change CR2430 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that everything working properly by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
