Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
