Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
