Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny coin battery installed in the your key fob. Open key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
