Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to open your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
