What type battery key fob require
Don't forget before disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all required tools and materials: CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Camaro's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Open key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
