2018 Chevrolet Express Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
If your Chevrolet remote key fob is no longer open doors correct, the cell battery more likely needs to be changed. In this case, you will benefit from knowing how to open your keyless entry remote and change a discharged battery DIY. If you decide to do it at home near Express, follow our instruction, but first make sure you have all you need.
What type battery keyless entry remote require
Prior to open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed small coin battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
