What kind of battery key fob require
Before going to open remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: CR2032 battery, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A coin cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
