Changing battery in remote key fob require 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Transit Connect's remote key fob
A small button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
