2018 Honda Clarity Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

If your Clarity key fob is not open doors properly, the cell battery surely needs to be replaced. What type battery keyless entry remote require
Prior to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and CR1616 battery.- 1xCR1616 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR1616. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
