Replacing battery in key fob require flat head screwdriver and CR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to replace the battery in your CR-V's keyless entry remote
A small button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
