Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
