Step by step guide
A coin cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
