What is the battery key fob require
Before going to open remote key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and CR1620 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR1620 battery
Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR1620. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
