Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
