If your Corvette keyless entry remote is no longer open doors perfectly, the battery most likely needs to be changed. It's not difficult to change the battery in your remote key fob, and it’s easier than you think. All tools, that you need is described below.

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
