Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Open the key if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
