Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1 CR2450 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2450 battery

Simple steps to replace the battery in your F-150's key fob
A button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2450 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
