Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Open key before you try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
