How to Open Your 2019 Honda Ridgeline Key Fob and Change Battery

Key fob grant access to your car. Once the remote key fob battery is dead or weak you will not to be able open doors remotely. It's not complicated to change the battery in your keyless entry remote, and it’s easier than you think. Everything you need is described below.

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
