Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
