How to Replace the Battery in a 2019 Subaru Outback Key Fob

Key fob allow easy access to your Subaru. If the key fob battery is weak or dead you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use distance opening function. In this article, we are going to tell you how to disassembly Subaru key fob and change a weak or dead battery yourself. If you choose to do it at home near Outback, use this guide, but don't forget to check tools and materials required.
What kind of battery remote key fob use
Before going to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step guide
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
