Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
