Simple steps to replace the battery in your Escalade's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
