Simple steps to change the battery in your 300's remote key fob
A small coin battery installed in the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Gently try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
