Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
